OVERVIEW
PROGRAM LENGTH: 8 months (includes 2 weeks of breaks and stat holidays)

CLASS SIZE: 16 students max per cohort
JCI’s Multimedia Makeup Artistry Program provides a comprehensive education in just under eight months. The curriculum covers a range of expression, setting you up to thrive as an agile makeup artist. The program begins with the essentials of beauty makeup, including skin care, model testing, and bridal makeup. As your artistry grows, the program progresses into more advanced modules focused on film, injuries, prosthetics, and sculpting. The practical aspects of makeup are complimented with an in-depth study of social media marketing, portfolio development, brand communication, video production, content creation, digital face charting, and influencer strategies—giving you the tools to build a successful, dynamic career.
As a graduate of the Multimedia Makeup Artistry Program, you’ll leave JCI with an expansive skill set, allowing you to excel in different areas of the industry. This broad application gives you the flexibility to shape your career based on what’s in demand and what you’re most passionate about. Graduates have found success in various fields, including film, where JCI grads are highly sought after for their professionalism and work ethic. This program has produced talented artists who have gone on to work on sets for Hollywood’s biggest shows, bringing home Emmy and Leo awards in the process.
