OVERVIEW

PROGRAM LENGTH: 7 MONTHS (INCLUDES 2 WEEKS BREAKS + STAT HOLIDAYS)

520 HOURS/26 WEEKS OF IN-CLASS EDUCATION

CLASS SIZE: 16 STUDENTS MAX PER COHORT

This 7-month, comprehensive program teaches students how to cut, colour, and style hair with an emphasis on practical application. Members of this cohort will practise on real-life clients during their training, learning both professionalism and adaptability. JCI has partnered with BELLAMI Professional to offer our students an exclusive certification and industry advantage.

Instructors are highly-successful professionals who are dialed into industry trends. They help students build strong foundations, so that upon graduation, they have the skills and confidence to start working immediately.

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.

    • Long hair with layers, fringe and face-framing layers

    COLOURING

    • ALL hair types (straight to textured)

    • Wella Professionals colour line training

    • Intro to highlights

    • All-over colour

    • Balayage

    • Bleach out and creative toning

    STYLING

    • Voluminous smooth blow-dry finish

    • Intro to Up-Styling

    • Texturizing and back combing

    • Classic French Roll
