OVERVIEW

PROGRAM LENGTH: 1 year (includes 4 weeks breaks + stat holidays)

900 hours/45 weeks in-class education

CLASS SIZE: 16 students max per cohort

The skincare and esthetics industries are trending towards results-focused treatments done effectively and efficiently. Clients are more educated than ever before—they’re looking for reliable, knowledgable practitioners that deliver tangible improvements (even when it comes to relaxation and rejuvenation).

JCI’s Body Spa and Medi-Esthetics Program is a year-long, intensive training that prepares you to show up professionally as a skin therapist, medical esthetician, and wellness practitioner. The curriculum is diverse, giving you a holistic, technical understanding of what it means to help others look and feel their best. Through hands-on learning (including practice on real clients in a professional spa setting), you’ll have the chance to master every treatment in the book. You’ll learn to build meaningful client relationships through one-on-one services, as well as develop your reliability as a well-rounded spa therapist and technician.

From a product-lens, you’ll train with Dermalogica. We partnered with Dermalogica because their professional-grade products are clean, responsible, and have stood the test of time. They are also results-focused—exactly what your future clientele is looking for. As a graduate of the Body Spa and Medi-Esthetics Program, you’ll get access to 6 months of unlimited, additional education through Dermalogica’s online portal, keeping you up to date on the latest in skincare treatments and trends even after you’ve left JCI.

Whether you want to start your own business or join a therapeutic team, this program equips you with the tools, knowledge, and etiquette to take charge of your career in an industry that’s buzzing with opportunity.
